Hazel M. Cass, Well Known Player, Asks Divorce Decree
Hazel Cass Davidson of Sumner, through her attorney, E.M. Sabin
of Northwood, has filed a petition asking for a decree of divorce
from her husband, Sheridan G. Davidson. The petition was filed in
a district court in
Waverly last week. Cruel and inhuman treatment is given as
grounds for the divorce. Mrs. Davidson also accuses her husband
of jealousy and of charging her falsely with immoral actions. The
petition recites that they were married Dec. 3, 1928, and lived
together as husband and wife until May, 1929. The marriage
referred to was the second between the two, Mrs. Davidson having
previously obtained a divorce. Later the two were remarried in
Chicago.
