Hawkins & Getsch made another sale this week. They closed up a deal the latter part of the week, whereby Joseph Arens, of Dyersville, came into possession of the Frank White farm, two miles west of town. Mr. Arens will not move his family until the first of next March.

Barney Feeney and A.E. Gault returned from the encampment at Minneapolis Friday evening.

A serious potato blight has appeared in the west of Ireland and threatens the failure of the crop. Spraying with sulphate of copper may save it, otherwise a potato famine is feared.
