It is reported that pack peddlers were over in Delaware county a few days ago selling cloth. One man who gave his note for $40 worth of cloth found out after they had sold the note that it called for four hundred dollars. It is queer to note how some people like to deal with strangers, and get into trouble when they can just as well deal with their home merchants and be safe.- Dyersville Commercial.
