Des Moines - Frank and Nathan Rainsbarger, released from the
Anamosa prison eighteen months ago on a three year parole, have
been given full pardons by Governor Clarke as New Year's
presents. These two men are Iowa's most noted prisoners. They had
served about thirty years on life sentences for murder, alleged
to have been committed during the counterfeiting days in Hardin
county.
