Miss Effie Cherry, one of the three Cherry sisters who did much
to make Linn county famous, is severely ill at Hot Springs, Ark.,
being afflicted with typhoid fever. For the past several months
the sisters have been operating a tourist hotel at Hot Springs,
Ark.
