-O.O. Tibbitts and family moved to Des Moines this week to remain
during the session of the 26th general assembly. His younger
daughter Pearl is a strong candidate for a pageship in the lower
house.
-Ben Winks' father, who has been here for some time past, left
Tuesday to join his wife in California. The old gentleman is much
improved in health since coming to Sumner.
-J.H. Noon and wife leave for Sharon, Wis., tonight to attend the
golden wedding of Mrs. Noon's parents, the 50th anniversary of
which happy event takes place Saturday evening, Jan. 4th.
-Miss Kate Kaye of Calmar has been in tis place this week
visiting the good people bearing the name Dickman.
-Louis Smith and Harry McConkey left for Toledo Wednesday night
to matriculate in the U.B. college at that place.
-Ben Winks and C.D. Carroll, with their sister wives, spent the
holidays at Alpha.
