Pvt. Clarence D. Zingg has arrived in North Africa, according to word received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. D. Zingg, Route 3, Waterloo. He was inducted in April, 1941.
Second Lieut. Marion R. Messingham of Waterloo has been assigned to duty with the director of training at the new army air forces basic flying school near Independence, Kan. A flight instructor, Lieutenant Messingham received his wings and air corps commission at Randolph Field in June 1942. His wife and daughter reside at 559 Indiana street.
