THREE OSAGE MEN ENLIST IN NAVY

Osage, Ia.—Three Osage young men, all employed in places of business here, enlisted in the Navy and left Tuesday for Des Moines, from which place they will be transferred to naval stations.

They are: Clair Coonradt, who had worked for several years in the Main street café; Gerald McSweeney, associated with his father in the operation of the Osage Produce company, and James Bailey, driver for the Turnmire Beverage company.

Men who will leave April 25 for induction into the army are:  Carl Conway (served several terms as county attorney here);
Harry James Warren, Floyd;
Ervin F. Gerk, Stacyville;
Robert P. Eide, Riceville;
Arthur F. Dieterich, and Ralph M. Jorgensen, St. Ansgar;
Edward L. Jones, McIntire;
Luvern Kuehl, St. Ansgar;
Walter G. Hemann, McIntire;
Roy L. Fleenor, Orchard;
Harlan Lloyd Hansen, Riceville;
Clyde E. Ritter, Mitchell;
Edwin H. Blake, Stacyville;
Ralph Roby, St. Ansgar.

Chester Evans leaves April 21 for Des Moines for induction.  He was transferred here from Kansas City, Mo.
