Miss Gertie Jean Fecht, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Fecht, Aplington, Iowa, and Leonard George Abkes, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Abkes, Iowa Falls, were married Friday evening in the parsonage of the Christian Reformed church, Austinville, Iowa, with the pastor, Rev. De Haan, officiating. A reception for the couple was given at the home of the bride’s mother in Aplington following the ceremony
