Page 5 had a listing of twenty-four Iowa farms for sale, ranging in price from $75 to $125 per acre.

Elsewhere in the paper was an ad of farms for sale in Hand County, South Dakota where the prices ranged from $18 to $31 per acre. The sizes of the Iowa farms varied, ranging from 40 acres to 400 acres; the size range in the South Dakota farms was from 160 acres to 1,120 acres.

Dr. KOOB was in Omaha the latter part of last week trying to purchase an automobile, having recently disposed of his old one, but he could not get the promise of one in under three months so he returned home Monday undecided as to the kind he will now purchase.

The front page listed timetables and fares for special trains to Des Moines for the State Fair and return. Round trip fare from Brayton costs two dollars and eighty five cents, but the passenger had to be willing to arise early enough to leave Brayton at 6:05 AM.
