South County Line.
Dr. KOOB has been kept quite busy out this way the past few days. The chug-chug of his motor car gives evidence of the epidemic which is lurking in the houses of so many of our neighbors. Mrs. KOOB accompanied him out to FREDERIKSENS Thursday where their little boy lies sick.
(Submitter's note: The new column, entitled South County Line, appeared for the first time in this issue)

FROM the Atlantic Democrat:
About 4:45 o'clock this Monday afternoon the last spike in the last rail of the main line of the Atlantic Northern and Southern at the Locust Street terminal was driven. This means that the main line of the new railroad is completed from Kimballton to Atlantic and that the A.N.&S. has come to town and come to stay. Blow your whistle. The remaining work on the new road in the way of track laying consists of building a few sidings at various points along the line.
