Oakfield-Brayton.
During the month of July, 1906, $166.19 worth of tickets were sold at the depot in Brayton; 18 cars of tile, cement, and sand were received; 22 cars of livestock were shipped out; and 30,060 pounds of creamery butter were also shipped out.

An advertisement by the railroad which serves Brayton that a special train will leave Brayton each day that the Iowa State Fair is in session, departing Brayton at 6:40 AM, arriving in Des Moines at 9:40 AM, and leaving Des Moines on the return trip at 10:30 PM, with transportation to and from the fair grounds in Des Moines also being included in the fare.
