Several Exira boys skated down Monday afternoon, but the extreme cold forced them to go back on the train.

Exira Local News.
Last Sunday's dailies stated that our town will soon rejoice, or otherwise, in the RFD (submitter's note: rural free delivery) routes which are no more myths but solid realities, the machinery of which will be in motion April 1st with three carriers, length of routes 71 miles, area covered 106 square miles, and population served 1465. The carrier's names had not yet been announced.
