Oakfield-Brayton column.
--Fifty-two cars of corn have been shipped to this town since August 1 for the hailed out district west of Brayton, fourteen cars coming in since last Wednesday.
--Dr. KOOB, Peter BECK, O. F. IDE, George JONES, and F. NELSON are all expecting to have phones put in their houses this week. The workmen are now at work setting poles.

Ingvaard BIRK and Hans NYMAND hauled out five tons of hay apiece Tuesday to feed their stock in the hail devastated district.
