Oakfield-Brayton column.
A couple of petitions for Rural Free Delivery are out and receiving many signatures. John Willie CANNON is the champion of the first one and the way lays out through Oakfield to the Natty HAMLIN homestead and beyond and then home again. The second one is under the charge of Mr. Nels P. HOEGH and runs northwest of Brayton out about Mr. HOEGH's home and back to Brayton. Both of these petitions have nearly the required one hundred signatures and soon a route inspector will arrive to look over the field.

Brayton column.
Hans NYMAND will soon begin the erection of a large country residence, costing him in the neighborhood of $1,500 which will be when he finishes one of the nicest homes in this part of the country. Hans believes in keeping abreast of the times and realizes that the best house he can build is none too good for he and his family.
