Brayton-Oakfield column.
--Report about Dr. KOOB, in his capacity as mayor of Brayton, arresting at the railroad depot an Exira man who was about to catch a south bound train, on a charge alleging that the prisoner had drugged a fellow Exiran the night before and then robbed him. The Exira marshal showed up in Brayton later and took the prisoner into the marshal's custody and returned with him to Exira.

Elk Horn-Kimballton.
Quite a large crowd was present last Friday evening at Kimballton to hear Congressman McPHERSON speak. A large delegation was present from Audubon. A number of prominent Exiraites honored the occasion with their presence. Of course, all the Republican candidates for county offices were present.
