Brayton-Oakfield column.

Mayor KOOB has issued an order stating that after this date the ordinance relative to livestock running loose within the limits of the town of Brayton will be rigidly enforced. All persons should take due notice and govern themselves accordingly.

Brayton-Oakfield.
--There was a large vote polled at Tuesday's election in Oakfield Township, the total being 210. The township rolled up its usual Republican majority, Governor SHAW's plurality reaching 80...
--Nineteen passengers went from Brayton to Council Bluffs Monday to help welcome home the boys of that splendid regiment, the 51st Iowa. They say that pandemonium reigned as the last section, the Council Bluffs company, rolled into the Rock Island depot. The crush that resulted from the thousands that were jammed together was something terrible. (Submitters note: Included in those in attendance were Mayor KOOB, JENKINS, ORDWAYS, and BARTLETTS.)

--Another run away team of horses, resulting in the wreck of the buggy they were pulling with assorted bumps and bruises being suffered by the occupants of the buggy.
