Our thanks to W.D. Turner, of Taylor township, for a basket of the finest apples we have seen this year. Mr. Turner is the most extensive fruit grower in the county, having about twenty-five acres of orchard, and a life time of experience has enabled him to grow the varieties best adapted to this climate. He had a variety which he has grown from the seed, which is large, samll cored and finely flavored, which he would do a favor to the people by propogating.
