- Mrs. Walter Linzenmeyer entertained a number of her friends at a Valentine party at her home Wednesday. The evening was spent in playing 500. Prizes were awarded to Miss Helen Jordan, Harold Welper and Earl Houlihan.
- F. Paus of Eitzen, Minnesota, unloaded a car of implements this week.
- Otto H. Meyer spent Friday and Saturday with his daughter, Mrs. Karl Korn and family at Caledonia, Minnesota.
- Earl Houlihan was a Caledonia caller Friday.
- Miss Rita Lager and Stanley Ambrose of Harpers Ferry spend the weekend at the William Lager home.

POSTVILLE NEWS
- Mr. and Mrs. H.J. Meyer were at Monona Sunday to attend funeral services for Walter Thompson. who died at New Ahmpton. He was married to Emma Honn, cousin of Mrs. Meyer.
- A caucus of qualified electors of the incorporated town of Postville will be held at Turner Hall Monday evening, March 4th.
- A total of $7,700 was realized Monday by Ross C. Koth at his farm auction.
