Richard Kerndt family of Milwaukee were guests of the C.M.
Kerndts.
Mr. and Mrs. Philip Rethwisch attended the Trayer - Bosworth
wedding at Mason City.
The Myron Guiders welcomed a baby boy.
Mrs. Fred Schafer was a delegate for the Eastern Star convention
held at Des Moines.
Mrs. Brockhausen and son Carl, were Lansing visitors.
A local talent minstrel show at New Albin was well attended.
A birthday dance in honor of Elmer Middendorf was held at
Jordan's Pavilion.
A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Bjorklund of Deadwood,
S.D.
Funeral rites were held at St. Patrick's for Loretta Kibby.
Mary Ahearn and Patrick Lanigan were married at Hanover.
An estimated crowd of 2,500 attended the Alfred Simenson auction
and 1,000 at the Thos. McCormick sale.
Mazie Dunlevy visited in Omaha.
Rev. & Mrs. Noeding, and Son, Otto, and John Fitzgerald were
in Dubuque.
Funeral services were held in Harpers for Mrs. John Hogan.
J.E. Russell left as manager of Schultz Bros. store to take over
a store in Indianapolis.
Julia Haas visited relatives in Florence, S.D.
The Masonic Lodge at Waukon celebrated their 75th anniversary
with a banquet and program.
Mrs. J. Rupp left for Chicago to live with her daughter.
Earl Bennett held a farm auction at Village Creek.
