Last Thursday evening the Orpheus Club put on a program which was enjoyed by
a hundred guests. The affair was staged in the commodious J.B.HART home.
The 10 year old son of painter PUTNAM was out hunting in Abbot's woods
Friday with several other boys. The gun they carried was accidentally
discharged and the lad received a severe wound in the thigh.
The marriage of Miss Jenie FELLOWS and Ralph PRESCOTT occurred on Tuesday.
The young lady is from Lansing and the groom is a Postville boy, now editor
of a paper in new Hampton. We wish much luck for them.
Miss Ethel McEWEN, who is still a student at Madison, Wisconsin, has been
elected to fill a position as teacher of Latin in the state school at
Ashland, Wisconsin.

friends our heartfelt appreciation of their kindly assistance and sympathy
so generously bestowed during the illness and burial of our beloved son and
brother, Paul MARSTON. Mr & Mrs. A.C. MARSTON and family.
Tuesday, June 1st, was the birthday anniversary of Mrs. Henry SCHUETTE, Sr.,
of this city...at the noon hour Mr & Mrs. Harold STONE and Catherine, Mr &
Mrs. H.J. SCHUETTE, Mrs. Harriet BAYLESS and Miss Catherine GERAGHTY came
into her home unannounced, prepared for a picnic.
