car passing caused him for some reason to leap from the one he
was occupying and his left leg was broken below the knee, either
by his fall or by the car passing over it. He was brought to the
hospital here at once an dhis injuries attended to, but pneumonia
developed which his weakened condition was unable to combat and
his death followed.

her home near Waukon, Oct 6th, aged 61 years.
