Dorchester
Heavy rain fell here Friday
Warm weather at present and grass growing fine.
Mrs. H. Kruger was a sight seer in Dorchester Saturday.
Mrs. Lew Oleson was a sight seer in Wilmingon Monday.
Mr. H. Teff Sr. and a son Max were business callers at Quandahl
Thursday.
Schulte and Kelly have commenced drilling an artisian well at the
parsonage.
Misses. Thompson and Haugen spent Sunday with the John Thompson
family at Eitzen.
Miss Mary Oleson left Monday For Cheyenne, N. D. where she has a
position as a kindergarten teacher.
Mrs. H. Teff, Sr., and Mrs. Lew Oleson spent a few days with Mrs.
Teffs daughter, Mrs. P. Metzdorff near New Albin last week.
A very sad accident occurred to Louis, the youngest son of Mr.
and Mrs. John A. Schulte, while playing in the hay loft. In some
way he got tangled in the hay fork rope which caused his death.
Louis was eleven years of age.

Fred Ericson visited on the north side Sunday.
Mrs. A. Hector has been on the sick list for a few days.
Gelo Bros. are nearly through sawing lumber at Gus Shogrens.
Young Marti and Fritz were seen down this way fishing Sunday.
The Ladies Aid Society met with Mrs. Forssell last week
Wednesday.
Gus Shogren, who has been sick for some time, is some better at
this writing.
Mrs. Joe Johnson returned home Saturday from a visit with her
sisters at Nora Springs.
Mrs. Otis Carlson entertained relatives, also Rev. Forssell and
family, to dinner Easter Sunday.
We understand that several more of our Center farmers are to have
telephones in the near future.
Decker U. Risers new egg wagon, with Floyd Ferris in charge, will
make regular trips through these parts in the future.
