Syver Halverson, a cream hauler for Waterville creamery, was
struck by a train on the Waukon branch, near the Haas mill. The
wagon was wrecked, but the driver escaped with minor injuries.
Ed Weber has bought the 40 acres north of Lansing known as Hale's
Garden, from Miss Alberta Hale.
Pike fishing is very good.
Otto Hagen of Waukon has gone to Livingston, Montana, to clerk
for the Great Northern Railroad.
