On July 1st, Earle Ralston brought down with an air gun at Doc.
Beal's, south of town, a carrier pigeon which had a brass band on
one leg marked V. X.; and an aluminum band on the other leg
marked 59336. He has the bird in a cage. Who can tell where that
pigeon came from?
