Kerndt's land opposite Lansing.
Clancy & Gaunitz finished the Lansing ice harvest of 700 tons
Saturday. They are now loading 50 or 60 cars for the railroad
company.
Lansing's "Little German" Band played at the opening of
Sam Vier's new pool room.
George Fitzpatrick and Albert Osmer are sawing ice by hand for
farmers.
John Latimer is drilling a well for George Hayes near New Albin.
Eitzen creamery paid customers l4 cents per inch for cream during
December.
40,000 people are now reported in the bread lines in Chicago.
