At the cemetery meeting last Saturday, J.H. SANDERS was reelected president and A.W. McDANELD, secretary and treasurer.

Miss Josie BURLING was made happy with a magnificent Estey Piano for her birthday present.

MARRIED.
At the residence of the bride's parents, near Hardin, Iowa, by Chas BURNHAM, J.P. , Mr. W.E. HINMAN and Miss Elma BURNHAM.

DOUBLE FUNERAL.
Today there is a double funeral near Frankville. John NICHOLSON, aged about 65 years, died on Tuesday and his sister, aged about 62 years, died on Wednesday morning. Neither of them had ever been married and were living together, the sister keeping house for her brother. They had both been attacked by grip, with pneumonia and heart failure. Mr. NICHOLSON had accumulated considerable property and his nearest relative is an aged sister, Mrs. COATES.

Another double death occurred over towards Frankville. Mr. and Mrs. Elon PAINE. One died on Friday and the other on Monday.

Peter STULL died last Sunday morning, a lingering victim of la grippe. His age was nearly 34 years. He leaves four children, his wife having died five or six years ago. Funeral from the M.E. church on Monday, the burial being in the Minert cemetery.

OBITUARY.
Eliza Jane BATES was born in Ireland, Dec. 25th, 1814 and came to New York city in 1833. She was married to Thomas G. SMITH in September 1836. They lived 5 years in Ill. and came to Hesper twp, Io., in 1854; moved to Castalia in 1864, where she has since lived. Their union was blessed with 10 children, four of whom are still living - one son and 3 daughters. February 13th, 1879 the husband crossed over. She died March 20th, 1891, at the age of 76 years, 2 months and 25 days.

THE DEATH ROLL.
Patrick RYAN, who was born and has always resided in Grand Meadow twp, died on Tuesday last and was buried in the Catholic cemetery at Clermont yesterday.

Re. J.M. WEDGEWOOD, for years a resident and prominent citizen and Baptist minister in Allamakee and Winnesheik counties, died at Waukon on the 9th.

Mrs. Hugh O'DONNELL, SR and Mrs. Mary B. HALE, are reported at Waukon on the 10th and 11th.

M.V. DAUBENBERGER, of the firm of Stauer & Daubenberger, lumber dealers and proprietors of the saw mill at Prairie du Chien, died at his home at McGregor on the 11th.

J.H. DEAL and wife lost their little boy, aged 6 years, of typhoid pneumonia. Another child was very sick with the same disease when the little boy was buried on Wednesday.

Mrs. L.D. SHAW, a daughter of the late M.V. BURDICK, and niece of the editor of the Review, died suddenly at Sioux Falls a few days ago of heart disease.

DIED.
Clinton M. GREENWOOD, born in Richford, Vermont, in 1876, died at his home near Postville, April 18th, 1891, aged 14 years and 10 months.

OBITUARIES.
Chloe E. TERRILL was born Oct. 8th, 1823, in Livingston Co. New York, and died in Postville, April 18th, 1891, aged 67 years and 6 months. She moved with her parents from New York to Mercer Co., Pa. Married Peter STULL, June 8th, 1844, and came to Allamakee county in 1865. Her husband died Nov. 28th, 1863. She afterward married William J. HARRIS, Jan. 15, 1865, who died Feb. 10, 1877. She had 12 children, five of whom survive her, three in Nebraska and two in Postville. She has been a member of the U.B. church, Bethel charge, 23 years.

Mrs. Harriet E. GANO, at her residence near Postville, April 19th, 1891, aged 75 years. Thus another of our earliest pioneers has dropped the time worn wrap of life. Deceased was born in Champion Co., Ohio, in 1816, came to Iowa in 1841.

Miss Eliza HOIT born in Burlington, Vt. Oct 23rd, 1810, and died at Bethel, Iowa, April 17th, 1891, aged 80 years and 5 months. At age 8 she moved with her parents to Malone, N.Y.; in 1833 removed to Conneaut, O., where she was married to Jonathan MOULTHROP, March 4th, 1837. They removed to Hardin, Iowa in 1855 and later settled near Bethel.
