Postville Review
Postville, Allamakee, Iowa
August 2, 1890

Geo. PEARSON was up from Hardin on Tuesday and we had our usual friendly political quarrel with him. He reports oats very light in that section, potatoes small and few in a hill, and late corn suffering for rain. We hope things will come out better than he fears.

Mr. JERALD has taken possession of the tailor shop here.

Hall ELLIS has bought the home and grounds of Harvey HAWKINS for $1000.

Dr. Fred LOW has bought out Dr. TOPLIFF's dental business at Postville.

Allamakee County has lost 439 in population during the past 5 years.
