Geo. McWILLIAMS has returned from the west.

Mrs. Frank ORR has sold her land west of town to John DRESSER at $35 per acre.

Mrs. T.M. MILLER is prepared to do dress-making, all kinds of plain sewing, stamping and embroidery.

The Commerical Hotel has been treated to a new coat of paper which adds largely to its appearance.

At the M.E. parsonage in Postville, March 9th, 1885, by Rev. S.T. McKIM, Mr. L.D. HAWKINS to Miss Lydia M. COWLES, both of this vicinity. They will make their home on their farm near this place.
