G.L. TEEPLE of Waukon was over canvassing in this vicinity for
Barnards Nurseries on Tuesday.
On Friday of last week, a German named Geo. FRITZ living in the
old school house near the German church, was found by his wife
who had been absent from the house about an hour, lying dead upon
the floor. The manner of death and previous history of the man
pointed to apoplexy. Deceased had been married but about two
months, and was quite a young man. He was buried last Sunday. A
large concourse of people followed the remains to their last
resting place in the Postville cemetery.
