Congregational sociable at Mrs. Geo. KERR's on Thursday.

A son of H.S. DAINS, in Frankville twp. met with a severe threshing machine accident on Thursday, thro' which he lost an index finger and had his hand otherwise injured.

LOCAL ITEMS.
John FITZSIMMONS, of Lawler has been here several days, momentarily expecting the demise of his father.

D.F. COON, Edgerton, Wis. sends in a subscription for another year.

L.M. POWERS, Esq. has been commissioned a Notary Public and is prepared to execute all legal papers.

LOCAL ITEMS.
Ed. PUTNAM has been 'laid on the shelf' the past week with a sore toe.

The Congregational social will be held at the residence of Mrs. Charity HARRIS, on Thanksgiving evening.

The copartnership existing between F.S. BURLING and H.A. STOWE is dissolved by mutual consent.

H.A. STOWE, Esq. has received his back pension, amounting to over $1,200. He has gone to Wright county and he intends to remove there in the spring.

Mr. Wm. MOTT has moved into the LAUGHLIN residence.

Old Mr. FITZSIMMONS died on Wednesday night.
