LOCAL ITEMS.
Charley BLANCHAINE has put in a new sidewalk in front of his premises.

C.H. GLASSBURN and Frank GLINES have added to the census a boy and girl respectively.

Will THOMA is building a stone addition to his residence to be used as a kitchen.

Elisha HARRIS has a new house about completed upon the foundation of the old stone house.

John MEIER is ready for the plasterers.

Our new bridge is progressing finely. When this bridge is finished we will be under great obligations to Esq. HARRIS, Evan SWINSON [sic: Swenson], and John HAMMEL Jr. for their untiring work in circulating the petition, etc.

The old DOBSON place is being much improved since W.H. CARITHERS bought it, by setting out evergreens.

LOCAL ITEMS.
Frank NICHOLS, who was at work on the parsonage, fell from a scaffold and was severly injured, last Saturday.

Mrs. McEWEN and one of her sisters are on a visit to Ripon, Wis.

M.Y. McMASTER is building a barn this summer.

John HAMMEL Jr. has moved on to his own place.
