Postville Review.

September 3, 1881.
The county is building a new $400 bridge near the ancient town of
Moneek, it is being the first county bridge fund expend in this
part of the county for several years.
The fifteenth wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. H.O. DAYTON,
last Saturday is said to have been the grandest affair of the
kind ever held in this county.
H.S. HUMPHREYS has leased the Commercial Hotel to J.M. LISHER of
the Burlington House.

H. S. Humphrey has leased the Commercial Hotel to J. M. Lisher,
of the Burlington House and the transfer will be made next
Monday. There's no room for comments this week.
Mrs. George HARRIS has been very sick.
For sale. The farm of Wells EATON, deceased, four miles northeast
of Postville. Seven milk cows, six 2 year old steers, seven
yearling steers, two yearling heifers, one thorough-bred Durham
bull, six hogs and one platform spring buggy. Mrs. Wells EATON.

There have been many on the sick list in the neighborhood of
late: Nathaniel McWILLIAMS wife and daughter; Evan SWENSON, his
father and two children; Reuben BRAINARD and others.
Lybrand school commenced last week, Miss F.A. COOK, teacher.
