PAINE, Mr. Abram N. WHITE and Miss S. Ellen HUGHS, both of
Fayette, Iowa.
Died. - Near Luana [Clayton co.], on 28th of April, 1875 Timothy
McCARTRY, a native of the county of Cork, Ireland, aged 73 years.

Died. - At the residence of Henry WILLIAMSON, his son, in
Boardman Township, Friday, May 14th, 1875, John WILLIAMSON, aged
78 years. Mr. WILLIAMSON was born in County Antrem, Ireland, Feb
20th, 1797, and came to the United States when about 21 years
old. He came to Clayton County in September 1875, and settled on
the farm near town where he has resided since. For many years he
was accessor of the town, and was universally held in high regard
as a citizen. At the time of his death he was Senior Mason of
this county. He was buried with Masonic honors on Sunday, the
16th inst., amid a very large concource of people of the county.
