Died. - March 13, 1875, at the residence of her father, John
MOIR, Sr., near Postville, Mrs. Ann L. DURNO, aged 34 years 6
months. Deceased was born in Joliet, Ill. in 1840, and came to
her death by congestive chills and fever terminating rapidly in
brain fever, produced by a highly abnormal condition of her
system, brought on by a combination of causes.

HUFFMAN. - At her residence in Waukon, Tuesday, March 16, 1875,
Mrs. Chastina BAIRD HUFFMAN. The funeral was held at the M. E.
Church at 1:30 o'clock p.m. Thursday. Mrs. HUFFMAN was born in
Orange Township, Ashland Co., Ohio, Nov. 7th, 1831. She was
married to P. C. HUFFMAN in Sept 1851, with whom life passed
happily. Two children mourn her loss. The family had resided in
Waukon for ten years and she was widely known.........twenty
years. She had been a member of the United Brethren and Methodist
Episcopal Churches.
