A “Little Green Book” Hanson Get-Together
Descendants of Michael Hanson and his children, early settlers in Iowa County, Iowa, are planning a “Hanson Get-Together” on September, 8th and 9th, 2011. The intent of the gathering:
- Meet new members of the extended family and visit with old friends
- Exchange genealogy information
- Propose a means for exchanging information and photos, including website development
- Correct errors in the “Little Green Book” and publish a revised edition with dates of birth, deaths and marriages, etc.
- Visit home sites and cemeteries
- Plan a future reunion
