During the 1880 Federal Census, taken in June of 1880, there was a seperate report of people who died during the previous year - called the 1880 Mortality Schedule. This is the schedule for Ida County, Iowa, an alphabetical list of people who died from June 1, 1879 to May 31, 1880. The schedule includes the townships of Battle Creek, Corwin, Douglas, Galva, Griggs, Hayes, Logan, Maple and Silver Creek. Not available were the townships of Blaine, Garfield, and Grant. |
