Stacyville Orphans

This photo is possibly a group of orphan train riders to Stacyville, Iowa. Date of photo is uncertain, although it may have been taken about 1888 - 1890. The photo is courtesy of Sharon (May) Nabedian who is the granddaughter of orphan train rider Casper (Ilderum) May. Casper is identified as the boy in the back row on the far right.

Another descendant and researcher Tom Hemann believes that his grandfather Frances (Hoffman) Hemann is the boy in the back row, third form the right."
