Uncle Sam's Call For July 30 Answered By Seventeen

Red Cross Supper

Given Usual Parting Honors by Town and County -- Were a Stalwart and Intelligent Lot.

     Another allotment of seventeen boys left for the front Tuesday of this week.  They were given a supper by the Red Cross, and received the honors accorded to Humboldt county soldiers.  A large procession marched to the depot, and the bands played, the flags waved, and everything was done to give the boys the knowledge that Humboldt county was behind them every spot in the path of duty.  The allotment was as follows:
