These are two postcards that featured "Von" farming
scenes. I know very little about the area. I believe it
consisted of just a post office that serviced the nearby farm
families. The post office was in existences from 1871 to 1882.
Mail began to be delivered, by train, to Livermore in 1882. This
was probably why the post office was discontinued. If anyone can
