NASHUA --Louise Wright, 85, Nashua, died Friday, Sept. 6, 2002 at Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo of natural causes.

Funeral Services were 9 a.m. Monday, Sept. 9 at United Methodist Church, Nashua.

Burial was in Sunnyside Memorial Gardens, Charles City.

Visitation was from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8 at Chenoweth and Son Funeral Home, Nashua and one hour before time of service at the church on Monday.

Louise was born Dec. 30, 1916 in rural Nashua, the daughter of Louis and Anna (Brugger) Legel. She graduated from Nashua High School in 1934 and attended Iowa State Teacher's College, earning her Teacher's Certificate. She taught at the Flint Country School and Bradford Country School. She married Alden Wright on June 2, 1940 at the UCC/Pleasant Hill Church and farmed with her husband.

Survivors include her husband, Alden, Nashua; two sons, Larry (Jan) Wright, Northwood and Jim Wright, Bonita Springs, FL; four grandchildren; one brother, Edwin Legel, Nashua and one sister, Esther Darrow, Charles City.

Preceding her in death were her parents and one sister, Elsa Stille.
