NASHUA - Jerry D. Wad, 61, Nashua, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2002 at his home of cancer.

Funeral Services were 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28 at St. John Lutheran Church, Nashua.

Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Nashua.

Visitation was from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27 at Chenoweth & Son Funeral Home, Nashua and one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.

Jerry was born May 4,1940 in Audobon, the son of Earl and Wilma (Ransom) Wad. He graduated from New Hampton High School in 1958. He married Jenelle Tillotson on Jan. 29, 1966 at the Little Brown Church, Nashua. He served as an E-5 with the 5th Armor Calvary in Germany in the U.S. Army from 1959-1962. He worked as a painter at White Farm Equipment, Charles City from 1958-1988. He then went to work at Kohring Cranes (Terex), Waverly as an assembler from 1988 to present.

Survivors include his children, Kimberly Vest, James (Vickie) Wad and Kari (Robert) Lampman, all of Nashua; his former wife, Janelle Wad; his mother, Wilma Wad; a brother, Jeff Wad; ten grandchildren and a friend, Kathleen Rust, all of Nashua.

Preceding him in death was his father; a sister, Earla Whalen and a grandson, Cohl Lampman.
