DES MOINES - Shirley (Sheehy) Todd, 70, Ozark, AR, formerly of Des Moines, died Monday, Dec. 2, 2002 at St. Edward’s Hospital, Ft. Smith, AR following a stroke.

Funeral Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 9 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Des Moines.

Burial was in Glendale Cemetery, Des Moines.

Visitation was held Sunday, Dec. 8 from 5 to 9 p.m. at' Grandview Park Funeral Home, Des Moines.

Shirley was born in New Hampton. She spent most of her life in Des Moines before retiring to Ozark, AR in 1990. She was a homemaker and part time employee of Richmond Gordman for over ten years in the 1980's. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Altus, AR, a former member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Des Moines and a former volunteer tutor at St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School. She enjoyed flower gardening and handcrafts including ceramics.

Survivors include her husband, James; three daughters, Deb Todd, Glendale, AZ, Kate Elphic, Clear Lake and Teri Ann Ellis, Des Moines; one son, Jeff Todd, Prairie Village, KS; three brothers, Gregory Sheehy, Jr., Pine City, MN, Ralph Sheehy, Bloomington, MN and Clifford (Joe) Sheehy, New Hampton; two sisters, Rose Marie Baltes, New Hampton and Clara Mae Kruse, Monona and eight grandchildren.
