NASHUA - Helen M. Springer, 90, Nashua, died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2002 at Windsor Care Center, Cedar Falls of natural causes.

Funeral Services will be 10;30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4 a t United Methodist Church, Nashua.

Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Nashua.

Visitation was from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3 a Chenoweth and Son Funeral Home and prior to on Friday.

Helen was born in Cedar Falls, the daughter Frank W. and Lillian M. (Myer) Dann. She graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1931. She was married to Gordon James from 1931 to 1939 and married Earl Springer in Charles City on March 9, 1940. She was a housewife.

Survivors include two daughters, Earlyn (Larry) Adelmund and Charlotte (David) Junker; one son, Laurence (Leatha) Springer, all of Nashua; 15 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.  

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Earl, in 1980; two daughters, Virginia Minikus, in 1991 and Mary Ohl, in 1992; one son, Roy, at birth; nine brothers, Ralph, Frank, Earl, Clement, Theodore, Jack, Harold, Charles Cann and also an infant brother and a great-grandson, James L. Minikus II.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
