Rodamaker, Leila nee Johnson 1929 - 2002

CHARLES CITY - Leila Rodamaker, 72, Charles City, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2002 at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital, Charles City of natural causes.

Funeral Services were held 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14 at the United Methodist Church, Nashua. -

Burial was in Sunnyside Memory Gardens, Charles City.

Visitation was Sunday, Jan. 13 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Chenoweth & Son Funeral Home, Nashua and one hour before time of service at the church on Monday.

Leila was born March 15, 1929 in Floyd County, the daughter of Ralph and Nellie (Thompson) Johnson. She was united in marriage with David Rodamaker on Sept. 22,1945 at the Methodist Church in Charles City. She was very active in the VFW Women's Auxiliary, serving as president of the Ralph Nicholson Post #06792 in Nashua and as District President.

Survivors include her husband, David; a son, Duane, Clarksville; a daughter, Sandra Rossi, Royersford, PA; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Vic Johnson, Nashua and Ralph (Jack) Johnson, Charles City and two sisters, Opal Martin, Greene and Viola Babcock, Corwith.

Preceding her in death were her parents; one brother, Jesse Johnson and one sister, Wilma Reinhardt.
