Richard Donald Pretasky (Dick), 69, of Hot Springs, Ark. died May 7, 2002.

He was born November 22, 1932 in La Crosse, Wis. to Frank and Cora Stair Pretasky.

Dick was a graduate of California College of Mortuary Science in Los Angeles and was a funeral director for 25 years, being licensed in Nevada,

Iowa and California before retirement in 1986. He was a strong supporter organ donation and was a member of Morning Star United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Pretasky; three children and their spouses, Paula (Dennis) Axe of Las Vegas, Nev.; Laetitia (Joe) Vopava of Ridgeway, Iowa, Don (Pam) Pretasky of Riceville; two brothers, Robert Pretasky of La Crosse, Wis. and Ron Pretasky of Las Vegas, Nev.; two sisters, Patricia Tabbert of Iron River, Wis., and Susan Keselburg of Sacramento, Cal.; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a loving little dog, Cupid; and many friends and relatives.

Funeral services were held at Gross Funeral Home Chapel in Hot Springs.
