Alice Pavelec, 72, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, July 10, at Covenant Medical Center of a massive stroke.

Alice was born December 18, 1929 in Mitchell, daughter of Henry and Louise Darius Koschmeder. She married Charles Morgan on October 8, 1966 in Riceville and he died August 24, 1978. She then married Edward Pavelec on , October 15,1988 in Waterloo and he preceded her in death on December 16, 1999.

Alice was an executive secretary for John Deere.

She is survived by one step son, Ray Pavelec of Elk Run Heights; two step daughters, Vivian Pavelec of Evansdale and Robin Williams of Williamsburg; one brother, Robert Koschmeder of Grafton; one sister, Marian Weldin, of Williams; five step grandchildren and one step-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by parents, husbands, three brothers, Melvin, Fred and Harold Koschmeder.

Services were Saturday, July 13, at Trinity American Lutheran Church with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery.
