Nehl, Mary "Lois" nee Sullivan 1934 - 2002

CHARLES CITY — Mary “Lois” Nehl, 68, died Tuesday, May 7, at the Salsbury Baptist Home, Charles City of natural causes.

She was born April 28,1934, in Chester, daughter of Thomas and Margaret Clancy Sullivan. She married Walter Nehl on Sept. 24, 1953, in Waterloo. He died in 1997.

Mrs. Nehl had worked for Landmark Laundry and the Charles City Press.

Survived by: a daughter, Wanda Wilcoxson of Scott City Kan.; three granddaughters; and a sister, Luella Nydegger of Naperville, IL.

Preceded in death by: four brothers.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Charles City, with burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Alta Vista. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Hauser Funeral Home, Charles City where there will be a 4:30 p.m. rosary and 7 p.m. vigil Scripture wake service. Visitation also for an hour before services Thursday at the church.
