NASHUA - Henry R. Naeve, 87, Nashua, died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002 at New Hampton Care Center, New Hampton of natural causes.

Funeral Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27 at First Congregational U.C.C., Nashua.

Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery, Nashua.

Visitation was from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26 with a 7 p.m. Masonic Service. Further visitation was one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.

Henry was born April 10, 1915 in Ogden, the son of Henry C. and Leona (Lark) Naeve. He graduated from Boxholm High School in 1934 and attended Detroit Marine Diesel Engine School in 1942. He married M. Geraldine (Jerry) Isaacson on Aug. 7, 1941, in Madrid. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942-45 with the 543rd Engineer Boat and Shore Regiment. He worked as a sales' representative for several businesses, most recent Lamberton Ross, St. Louis, MO, retiring in 1983. He was a member of First Congregational U.C.C. where he served as a trustee, on the Deaconate Board and sponsored the Pilgrim Fellowship Youth for many years; a member of Bradford Lodge #129 where he had served as past Worshipful Master, American Legion where he had served as Post Commander, V.F.W. and Shriners.

Survivors include his wife, Geraldine (Jerry); a daughter, Karilyn (Tom) Claude, Algona; one son, Randy (Linda) Naeve, Ames; one sister, Ruby Cavanaugh, Cupertino, CA and five grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a sister, Ruth Bullerick and a brother, Leo Naeve.
