ARVADA, CO - Joseph G. Mishak, 64, Arvada, CO died unexpectedly Jan. 26,2002.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church on Friday, Feb. 1. A military funeral followed at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.

Joe was born Dec. 26,1937 in New Hampton, the son of Agnes and Lando Mishak. He married Diana K. Schieman on March 26, 1966 in Denver. Joe served his country with the Navy from 1959 to 1963. After service, he settled in Colorado. Joe worked for US West and Marconi as an engineer. He enjoyed Bronco games, helping others with projects and spending, time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Diana; his mother, Agnes Mishak, New Hampton; a son, Michael (Susan) Mishak, Ft. Collins, CO; a daughter, Stephanie Mishak and special friend, Mark Lieb, Denver, CO; two granddaughters; three brothers, Wayne (Jane) Mishak, California, Frank (Marlys) Mishak, Iowa and Lenny Mishak, Texas; two sisters, Karen (Brian) Bezoenik, Wisconsin and Mary (Milton) Frese, New Hampton; four nieces and nine nephews.

Preceding him in death was his father.
